After the grand success of harry potter, Rowling was on seventh heaven, but the lack of family around her left her in despair. It was the time for her to get married and start life afresh.

During 2001, Rowling met Neil Michael Murray, an anesthetist. As soon as she met her she knew he was the right one for her. Soon their friendship grew deeper and they get married in a private ceremony at Rowling’s Aberfeldy home. For both Murray and Rowling, it was their second marriage.  Previously Murray was married to Dr. Fiona Duncan. Murray got separation from her previous wife in the year 1999 and divorced her in 2001. During the end of 2003, Rowling became alienated from her father, with whom she always had a difficult relationship. In a chat session with Media, Rowling confessed that she was still separated from her father, but it stemmed from her father’s decision to sell personalized copies of the harry potter series at a Auction house including a copy of “harry potter and the Goblet of Fire” on the occasion of father’s day with a personalized message.

In the year 2003, Murray and Rowling’s son David G.R. Murray have born. Rowling took a break from writing the sixth book of the Harry Potter series, “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” to take care of her infant son.

During the year 2005, Rowling gave birth to her little daughter Mackenzie Jean Rowling Murray. She dedicated her sixth book, “Harry potter and the Half Blood Prince” to her youngest child.

After meeting with several obstacles finally, Joanne K. Rowling proved the power of her dreams.
